In our review of Ahsoka episode 6, Far, Far Away, we discuss Peridia and a whole new Star Wars galaxy! How do we feel about Huyang saying “A long time ago. In a galaxy far, far away.”? What are the old folktales and legends that the Jedi at the temple were told? What is Baylan looking for?! Could Shin be good? We have some fun with speculation this episode! PLUS, what a lore-dump! What did we think of seeing Thrawn and live-action nightsisters?! Could Sabine and Ezra’s reunion spell disaster when he finds out how she got there? Will Ahsoka be understanding once she catches up? Only 2 episodes left!

In our review of Ahsoka episode 5, Shadow Warrior, we discuss the world between worlds, INCREDIBLE flashbacks, and ask “wait, what was Anakin’s lesson?!” Does this keep getting better and better every week? YES! What did we think of the reintroduction to Anakin Skywalker? How were those flashback transitions? What did it all mean.

Failure is the greatest teacher! In our review of episode 4, Fallen Jedi, we discuss new insights into what it means to be a Jedi! Is this the star wars we’ve been waiting for? YES! Should Sabine and Ahsoka have listened to Huyang? Also yes. But aren’t all Jedi tested?
Are Ahsoka and Baylan on similar paths? We also love moments of questions the Jedi teachings, and maybe going against what they believe is right - could that lead to a better relationship with The Force?
And for Star Wars-y-ness Lightsaber battle GALORE! Sabine v Shin, Ahsoka v Marrok, the smoke cloud, Ahsoka v Baylan! And, of course, we couldn’t not talk about that ending!

What does it mean to be a Jedi?! We continue to pull on that thread through the third episode of Ahsoka. It continues to be Star Wars in a very Star Wars way for us! Sabine wants to move the cup and you know you want to move the cup too! Is Ahsoka a good teacher? What are her pedagogy strategies? Is Huyang the sassy droid, or just honest?
Does the length of an episode impact our review? Maybe sometimes… Do we think we’ll actually see Thrawn this season? PLUS, live-action Purrgil!

We’ve gotten the first 2 episodes of Ahsoka! WOW! We discuss how we’re feeling! We get into Dave Filoni’s ability to transition between animation and live action. Have we questioned him? How do we feel now? What do we think of the introduction / reintroduction to these characters?!
The Ghost Crew (mostly) is BACK! Hera, Chopper, Sabine! What’s the deal with Baylan and Shin? Are they evil? Are these some baits and switches? Is Thrawn really calling across time and space for Morgan Elsbeth? Hmmmmm…
We also ask “what does it mean to be a Jedi?” Which we think might be a thread the show pulls on throughout its run. Do jedi have to have an aptitude for The Force? What about former jedi? Lots of Jedi-ish in this show, so far.
