The Mandalorian. The Baby Yoda Show. Whatever you want to call it…

Guess what everyone: This week we go over the plot of episodes three (The Sin) and four (Sanctuary). Question right off the bat: what was the sin? Bounty Hunting is a dangerous profession for Baby Yoda. The Mandalorian stuff is cool. Manda-Lore. Get it? What an emotional roller coaster of an episode. What’s Pershing’s deal? Where could they possible go next?

Sorgan is where they go next! BTW and right up top, they’re Klatooinian, not Star Wars Uruk-hai. New characters, old western tropes, and a whole lotta cute Baby Yoda moments. Did everyone see Cara Dune’s rebel symbol tattoo? What’s the widow Omera’s story? She’s the only farmer who knows how to shoot a gun. Does B.Y. live off of frogs?

We discuss how we feel about the show so far as well as some new theories as to why what’s left of the empire might want B.Y.

Disney+ has opened the Star Wars floodgates. This episode we talk about the first two episodes of The Mandalorian!!! 

*SPOILER ALERT*

We go over the plot of the first two episodes: meeting the Mandalorian, fish glands, bounty hunting with carbonite, a little Blurrg riding, space rhinoceros fighting etc. As Lorelei says: “The Mandalorian walks into a bar…” 

Bounty hunting for Carl Weathers is a dangerous profession. What could the mysterious bounty that The Client (Herzog) and Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi) be? We will not spoil it in this description, but we certainly spoil it in the episode. 

Anyway, we discuss our initial feelings about the show after the first two episodes, theories, and how damn cute the *SPOILER* is!!!! 

We have some pretty good ideas, if we say so ourselves.

This is it. What we’ve been waiting for. It’s that time of year. This episode of Krypton to Alderaan is all about

STAR WARS. All Star Wars all the time. This is what we’re very passionate about, everyone. 

After much back-and-forth, finally Benioff and Weiss (Game of Thrones) have been fired from/quit whatever they were going to do for/to Star Wars. That’s right: from trilogy to one movie to no movies. We discuss what we think happened/who cares.

We move on to the new Mandalorian trailer. We discuss general feelings/excitement levels. Spoiler alert, we think different things. You could say each host would give this trailer a different Manda-score-ian. 

Biggest news of all: the FINAL Rise of Skywalker Trailer. This is it folks, the "final" trailer to the finale of the Skywalker saga. We do a bit of a trailer breakdown: training Rey, ships, death stars, ships, C3PO, ships, Palpatine, space horses, throne rooms, etc. Does this seem like a final trailer? Was Palpatine pulling all the strings? Who got choked up at C3PO? Who got choked up at the end?

Joey discusses Crisis on Infinite Earths (1985). IT IS DENSE. There’s a lot of info in both this comic and this episode. Our plan is to get everyone ready for DC’s CW’s Arrowverse's massive superhero tv show crossover. If you listen to this episode, you won’t even have to be caught up on any of the tv shows to understand the Crisis crossover, just dive right in. JK lololol.

It has been two weeks since our last episode! Also, this will be the way we do things now. Fear not, we will still be providing the wonderful content that you know and love. 

This episode we breeze through some news. Well, we try to breeze through it until we get to the star wars stuff. 

Photo release of Brandon Routh in his Kingdom Come Superman suit. It looks dope, check it out. 

Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neil returning for the Jurassic World sequel! Nostalgia abounds! Last we saw Laura Dern, she was on the phone with Sam Neil as he was shouting “THE RIVER!” Then she managed to send help to that exact river with no other geographical clues. 

Kevin Feige on Star Wars. Phew, there’s a lot to unpack there - you’ll have to listen. 

But ANYWAY, then the group goes through every cinematic representation of the Joker. From Cesar Romero to Jared Leto, who’s done it best, who’s done it worst. Is the role cursed? Why is Jared Leto so gross? Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? We go through them all and discuss what they mean to us.
