29:40 Open Discussion: X-Men into the MCU
Episode 14:
This episode we talk about ways that the X-Men could be introduced into the MCU.
First up, we discuss The New Mutants - a movie that has been on hold since 2018 and just got its second trailer last month. Unfortunately, as of now this will not tie in to the MCU. We review both trailers and talk about what we think and if we think we’ll like it/see it.
Next up, there are many, many options for bringing the X-Men into the MCU. We discuss a few rumors circulating as well as a few likely scenarios.
UP FRONT!!! - Joey would like to make it clear that he meant 20th Century Fox!!! He knows that Disney DID NOT buy Sony (yet) and he is deeply saddened for spreading fake news and even more deeply saddened for the nerd cred that he might have lost.
The Krypton to Alderaan team discuss how the X-Men could be or are rumored to be introduced in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, WandaVision, and/or Captain Marvel 2. Will Doctor Strange run into alternate versions of Professor X as he’s going through the multiverse? Will he form the Illuminati? Has Wanda ripped a hole in space and time, allowing different dimensions access to one-another? Will we go back to Rogue’s roots by introducing her as a villain in Captain Marvel? Or, did the “Un-Snap” create an opportunity for these characters to manifest?
We go over all these alternatives, AND MORE. Including the unfortunate rumor that Henry Cavill will be cast as Wolverine… Spoiler alert - none of us are on board with this.
This week, two surprise questions! Let us know your answers!
Thanks for listening!

Episode 13:
This episode we talk about:
Marvel Trailer Trifecta - copyright pending, Krypton to Alderaan
First up, we discuss the Disney+ super bowl commercial that just happened to feature three of the MCU shows coming to Disney+ this year.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Shield throwing, metal arms, Zemo, all new things. Will Sam get to keep the shield? (looks like no). What did we think? Will we watch? Does it look boring?
WandaVision. It looks like Wanda is creating alternate realities that correspond to different old timey sitcoms. Is she in control of her powers? Is someone else controlling things? Aren’t we all looking forward to this one? Tune in to find out!
Loki. Loki’s been captured by the time police presumably sometime after Loki takes the Tesseract in Endgame. We talk about the introduction of new characters and the direction the show can take if it’s set in an alternate reality.
Next we talk about the trailer for Morbius. Who’s Morbius? Batman? Man Bat? Bat bat? Joey explains a little. Good guy? Bad guy? Do we need to be told what his powers are, or is it enough to just use the powers on screen? Does anyone like Jared Leto? Did he send gross gifts to the cast? How can this tie in to the current Marvel/Sony spider-verse? Sooo many questions, some answers.
Finally, we get to Black Widow. We’ve got a few trailers to try to piece this together. Who’s her Russian family? Who is Taskmaster? Is Taskmaster someone in her “family”? Who at Krypton to Alderaan likes this character enough to be excited about this movie vs who does not?
All that, plus MORE:
A brief discussion on the Stranger Things Season 4 teaser.
And, as always, there’s a surprise question. Let us know your answers!

Episode 12:
Hello, we’re back! AGAIN!
This episode we talk about:
Our new favorite segment: Royce and Robin got a couch. Every week we’ll discuss something new they’ve binged from the new couch. JUST KIDDING. We go over what has been suggested on Instagram as currently bingeworthy. We then go over how all of the suggestions pale in comparison to The Clone Wars.
Speaking of the Clone Wars *seamless transition* we discuss what we think about the new trailer for the final season. Additionally Joey attempts to convince the other hosts to JUST SHUT UP AND WATCH IT ALREADY. Anyway, it looks awesome. Maybe watch the trailer and then listen to us talk about it.
Up next is the Colin Trevorrow Duel of The Fates script and concept art. Art looks cool and Monday morning quarterbacking is always fun. But is anything good? We discuss the alternate universe where this got made and Rise did not. The main question is: will people be taking to the internet demanding #releasethetrevorrowcut?
Obi Wan. More like Uh Oh Wan. Obi Whaaaaa. Oh geeze Wan. Anyway, there’s trouble. The show is “on hold” (maybe “indefinitely”) while Disney searches for a new writer. We discuss Star Wars’s past with these sorts of changes and how it’s worked out (*tug at shirt collar*) in the past. After the success of The Mandalorian, we have/had high hopes for this show. But is our confidence fading? Tune in to find out!!!
It’s a surprise who asks the surprise question this week.

6:32 The Mandalorian Eps. 7 and 8
15:21 The Rise of Skywalker
Episode 11:
We’re back! Happy holidays to everyone!!! After a couple of weeks off enjoying the holiday season and seeing The Rise of Skywalker twice, Krypton to Alderaan is back and ready to yell about Star Wars.
*SPOILER ALERT* for the Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker
This episode we talk about:
The Mandalorian Episodes 7 (The Reckoning) and 8 (Redemption)
AND
Our thoughts, opinions, and levels of satisfaction regarding The Rise of Skywalker.
We breeze through The Mandalorian in order to get to Rise. Overall, we loved the show and baby yoda. Season two is set to not disappoint with season one answering some questions, but asking so many others. Yoda home world?! Moff Gideon, bad guy? Or maybe good guy? The Dark Saber lives.
The Rise of Skywalker
We play some good cop, bad cop with the film. We discuss our likes, dislikes, and our levels of satisfaction. Did it live up to the hype of a triple trilogy-ending film? Did it live up to our expectations (as discussed in Episode 10)? Is it a huge relief that it’s over and now we can get something new?
All these questions answered, and more! Including a surprise question.
Thanks for listening!

0:00 Intros and what we’re into this week
5:46 The Mandalorian Ep. 5
16:05 The Mandalorian Ep. 6
39:57 The Rise of Skywalker - Final expectations, theories, etc.
Episode 10:
This episode we talk about The Mandalorian Episodes 5 (The Gunslinger) and 6 (The Prisoner).
*SPOILER ALERT* for The Mandalorian
We try to get through Mando quickly so we can get to our final anticipations for The Rise of Skywalker.
The Mandalorian
Ep. 5: The Gunslinger
Dave Filoni wrote and directed this episode. He’s responsible for much of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. We’ve dubbed him “Star Wars smart”. That being said, this episode might be the weakest of the season so far. Royce breaks down the fan service 101 that was The Gunslinger.
Ep. 6: The Prisoner
Back to the action with The Prisoner. We play a fun game of ‘who’s that tv actor’ with the entire cast. We discuss it being the “Where’s baby Yoda?” show. And we have varying opinions about the quality of the episode in general. Is it ok that this show is, so far, just a series of side quests?
The Rise of Skywalker
Do we have expectations/theories? 2/3 of us do, yes. Is it safer/better/healthier to not? Turns out the answer may be yes. What are we most excited for? How will everything tie in? How do you end the Skywalker Saga satisfyingly? Can Star Wars fans be satisfied?
Royce hosts surprise question time this week!
