The first two episodes of Star Wars: The Acolyte ARE HERE! Lost/Found and Revenge/Justice. We discuss the premier of the first live action show set during The High Republic! What did we think right out the gate? How do we feel about a mystery Star Wars? Mystery all around! How's the pacing? How about those run times? Too short, or just right? We're VERY hopeful for its success!
How do we feel about the characters? What do we think of Yord? What's it like seeing an older Vernestra Rwoh?! We thought we'd see the Jedi begin their downfall throughout the series, but... are they already lost? Did Sol, Indara, Torbin and Kelnacca already lie and cover up what really happened to Osha and Mae? Will there be fallout from that? Will we see more Sith/Apprentice stuff?! Are we going to root for the Jedi? Are we going to root for Mae?

Anticipation is HIGH for Star Wars: The Acolyte, the first live action show set during The High Republic! We're EXCITED! We discuss some of the characters: Mae, Master Sol, Master Indara, Yord, Qimir, a secret Sith? Why do the prequel Jedi say the sith have been extinct for 1,000 years??? Are we getting too much information from the trailers? We also discuss some of the twists and turns in the trailers and clips, and why Leslie Headland said "Whatever you think the Acolyte is, it's not that." Lightsabers and pew pews? Or deep, emotional storytelling with complex relationships? All of the above?
Will this continue the trend of Star Wars live action shows being INCREDIBLY inconsistent with their runtimes? Or will they try to be a little less all over the place? Does this matter to us? Should we just go into it with that expectation?
