This episode, I talk with comedian, comedy writer, and animation writer, Joey Clift! Joey and I talk about what it’s like being Joeys! Then, we get an introduction into Joey Clift and some of his projects, including writing for the first ever animated tv show created by, written by, and starring Native people - catch Spirit Rangers, coming soon to Netflix.
Joey also discusses the plight of the animation worker, and the union contract negotiations calling for a New Deal 4 Animation - a fight for equal pay and benefits as their live-action counterparts. Joey tells us what we can all do to help. Conscious consumerism is key - for fans of animation and animation allies, we can all do our part by educating ourselves on the fight, and showing and vocalizing our support by following the following twitter accounts and using the following hashtags:

Who’s enjoying Moon Knight so far?! Is it easier to just sit back and enjoy something when you don’t have the burden of canonical knowledge??? Maybeeee. However, so far there’s no “Baby Yoda Moment”.
How do we think the pilot of Moon Knight stacks up to other MCU shows? Is it similar to WandaVision? Every episode, Lorelei has to remind me that this isn’t a WandaVision podcast…
As we’re transitioning more into Phase 4, how do we feel about Moon Knight not being connected to the bigger MCU? Does that give anything or take anything away? As the MCU progresses is this how they tell new stories without it feeling “Phase I”?
How’s Oscar Isaac doing, navigating playing multiple roles, here? Are we enjoying his performances? Are they believable? Steven feels like such a character and Isaac is bringing such comedy but also shows the incredible burden that this character is sustaining. But also,
DON’T GIVE UP ON LOVE, Stephen!
What do we think of all the CGI and the Suit(s)? I love a great Superhero suit - and both of these are great. But does all the CGI make Khonshu look like a Disneyland character? Do the visual effects matter as much if the story is great?

This episode we talk about our reactions to the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Jurassic World Dominion trailers. BUT FIRST! With the news and posters that dropped, announcing Season 4 of Stranger Things, we discuss our thoughts on the series thus far, and our anticipation for the new season!
We can all agree that the Doctor Strange trailer was bonkers! Stange(s), Wanda(s), the Illuminati?! Some of us like Doctor Strange more than others, and some like WandaVision more than others… Based on the trailer, what specifically are we excited for? Most importantly, will the movie have to be 6 hours long to cover everything?
And if you’re wondering if we love dinosaurs, the answer is a very enthusiastic YES! Well, Joey loves them enough for everyone… We discuss our history with, and nostalgia for, the Jurassic franchise. We also talk about some of the dinos, some of the characters, and whether or not we’d like to see Chris Pratt get eaten. We ask the question: could this movie possibly be bad?!
