Episode 15:
We’re BACK! After a long sabbatical, your x(xx)th favorite podcast has returned!!! Since we’re a little rusty - this episode may be a little awkward.
This episode we talk about the first two episodes of The Madalorian season 2; Chapter 9: The Marshal and Chapter 10: The Passenger.
***Spoilers for The Mandalorian***
Chapter 9: The Marshall (Written and Directed by Jon Favreau)
We discuss Cobb Vanth’s (Timothy Olyphant) story and how it ties with established cannon setup by the Aftermath trilogy of books that take place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Based on the books, it seems that maybe Vanth isn’t being completely honest with Mando. Overall, the K2A team enjoyed this episode and we felt it was an exciting introduction to the season. Quests, gunslingers, Amy Sedaris, dragons, and BOBA FETT - good stuff! Lots of cute Baby Yoda moments too! And, let’s be honest, that why we all tune in.
Chapter 10: The Passenger (Written by Jon Favreau, Directed by Peyton Reed)
We discuss Peyton Reeds Mandalorian debut, having previously directed Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp…among others. Not surprisingly, this episode features a giant, sabacc-playing ant. But, talk about cute Baby Yoda moments! This episode is full of ‘em. Another fun monster fight episode - when we weren’t distracted by giant, gross spiders, that lay face-hugger eggs, we were busy swooning over adorable BY. Lots of hints sprinkled throughout this episode that could suggest what characters he may be meeting next and what that could mean for the future of Mando’s quest.
As usual, we have a surprise question - so stick around until the end!
