13:32 Kevin Feige Star Wars news
22:00 “I hope you all are into this” On screen representations of the Joker
Episode 5:
It has been two weeks since our last episode! Also, this will be the way we do things now. Fear not, we will still be providing the wonderful content that you know and love.
This episode we breeze through some news. Well, we try to breeze through it until we get to the star wars stuff.
Photo release of Brandon Routh in his Kingdom Come Superman suit. It looks dope, check it out.
Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neil returning for the Jurassic World sequel! Nostalgia abounds! Last we saw Laura Dern, she was on the phone with Sam Neil as he was shouting “THE RIVER!” Then she managed to send help to that exact river with no other geographical clues.
Kevin Feige on Star Wars. Phew, there’s a lot to unpack there - you’ll have to listen.
But ANYWAY, then the group goes through every cinematic representation of the Joker. From Cesar Romero to Jared Leto, who’s done it best, who’s done it worst. Is the role cursed? Why is Jared Leto so gross? Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? We go through them all and discuss what they mean to us.
Joey's super secret surprise question segment that is always called the same thing: It’s Batman related.
Thanks for listening!

5:19 Downton Abbey. JK LOLOL Battlestar Galactica Reboot
12:47 Battle At Big Rock Discussion Pt. 2
20:48 CW’s Arrowverse’s Crossover News
Episode 4. What a wild ride.
So many things this week!!! Birthdays: Royce’s and Batman’s.
Battle Star Galactica reboot. ReBot. ReCylon. We discuss our varying familiarity with the show(s). What we thought of the past iterations and speculate on what this next thing could be. WHO’S A CYLON?!?!? Available only on Peacock…. So, there’s that.
Anyway, then we also talk about Battle at Big Rock again! Camping! with dinosaurs. The crazy SOBs did it. Family camping trip gone wrong? Or dinosaur dinner interrupted by humanity? Who can decide. We go through our opinions on the short from story points to CGI.
And then.
Joey entices the group.
With a drawn out intro into the last talking point.
And everyone loves it.
This years CW’s Arrowverse crossover news. The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event will be featuring Tom Welling and Erica Durance reprising their Smallville roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. THE EXCITEMENT OF THIS CANNOT BE CONTAINED. Joey regales the group with tales of his love for Smallville. He also gives brief and clumsy description of Crisis on Infinite Earths, the DC comic book event that is the inspiration of this years television crossover event. More on that to come!
Joey's super secret surprise question segment that is always called the same thing: This one is tricky.

0:00 Intros and what we’re into this week
5:15 Spiderman (not) in the MCU, but maybe?
6:48 Universal's Dark Universe
12:15 Battle at Big Rock Jurassic World short film
16:30 Suicide Squad Cast
Episode 3 everyone!!! This time we discuss Spiderman in the MCU. Wait... more like deja MCU AMIRIGHT?
Universal's Dark Universe of monster movies. Another attempt on the heals of Dracula Untold and The Mummy (2017) (not the good one (the Brendon Fraser one(s))). More like deja U AMIRIGHT? (U is for Universal).
Anyway, then we also talk about Battle at Big Rock, a Jurassic World short film. Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, director; Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, writer) this short takes place shortly after the events of Fallen Kingdom. Is this the future of promotional material? Is this the next "end credit scene"? Next week we will discuss our reactions.
We cap it off with James Gunn's twitter cast dump for Suicide Squad, the seboot to Suicide Squad (2016). How do we feel about the cast list? Who the eff are some of these people? Has Idris Elba ever been in anything good? Will heads explode both on (literally) and off (metaphorically) screen? We only have to wait 2 years to find out. BUT, that won't stop us from talking about it.
Joey's super secret surprise question segment that is always called the same thing: Tune in. It's a deeper question than the others have been. Might require the feelings lightsaber.
Thanks for listening!!!

Episode 2 - NerdVision

0:00 Intros and what we’re into this week
5:00 Spiderman (not) in the MCU
9:30 DC’s Birds of Prey Teaser
13:53 D23 Disney+ Marvel Show Announcements
14:39 Moon Knight
18:41 Ms. Marvel
23:45 She Hulk
29:00 WandaVision
40:20 What streaming service are we most excited for?
Welcome back, or for the first time to Krypton to Alderaan. Episode 2. We made it. This week we discuss Spiderman and the MCU. Does Sony have what it takes to make a good Spiderman movie on their own? We haven’t forgotten what happened last time(s). We also discuss the Birds of Prey teaser. Will this female-led team of Gotham’s heroes, anti-heroes, and villains get us excited about the DCEU? Time will tell. But we also tell you right now.
Then, as we promised last week, Part II of our D23 topics: Disney+ Marvel Series.
Bad Boys for Life: JK LOLOLOL
Moon Knight: The original bad boy for life. What we would call a fringe marvel character. We discuss the character and his powers (or lack of powers, WE SHALL SEE) a bit. Also, Joey says Afghanistan when he means Egypt. Classic podcast goof-em-ups. Will this series be as intriguing as FX’s Legion without being too similar?
Ms. Marvel: First Pakistani-Muslim character to get her own comic book series and now she’s getting a live-action tv series! Character background, where we think the show could go leading up to her movie, how the current MCU could tie in.
She Hulk: What’s in a name? Tune into this discussion to find out. Joey’s very excited about this one and has to convince everyone else to look past the name. Lawyer/Hulk Jennifer Walters will be coming to our TV screens. Will Disney dedicated $$$ to keeping her She Hulked out? We hope so.
WandaVision: We discuss the poster. If you haven’t seen it, go and take a look! Part old timey sitcom, part superhero show. So many returning characters, including Vision, back from the dead thanks to Scarlet Witch and her reality-warping powers. Have our initial opinions of the news of this series been changed by a poster alone? Or was it because of Kathryn Hahn? Perhaps both!!!
And, of course, our very popular Surprise Question Segment. What’s the question this week? It’s not that and you’ll have to listen to find out.
Thank you to all listening! Also, thanks to people who aren’t listening but deserve thanks for something else.

0:00 Intros! Welcome everyone!!!
0:57 Joker trailer
5:43 Terminator Dark Fate
12:20 STAR WARS ROUND TABLE
12:43 Cassian and K2SO
17:05 Clone Wars Season 7
20:40 Obi Wan
25:27 Mandalorian
30:23 Rise of Skywalker
Welcome to Krypton to Alderaan. Your new, weekly podcast for everything nerd news, but mostly Star Wars. We also ask all the most important questions. In our inaugural episode (!!!) we discuss Joker, The Trailer. Is this the Joker we want? Is this the Joker we need? Is this the Joker we deserve? We also discuss Terminator Dark Fate (AKA Return of the Conners). Question: How does a MACHINE GROW A BEARD?!?! And also other discussions.
We deep dive into D23 Star Wars news and announcements. Cassian and K2SO spy show: Do we want it? Do we need it?
Although not necessarily D23 news we discuss Clone Wars Season 7: return of Ahsoka to the Jedi? Return (again and as always) of Darth Maul? It's gets a little Clone-y. Was the trailer enough to encourage viewership from the hosts that haven't watch the animated shows?
Obi Wan show: Are we interested in this show? We discuss what we think the story lines might be. Will we get cantina drunk Obi Wan?
Mandalorian: we discuss our general level of interest and how it may have been affected by Werner Herzog. Should it have been Boba Fett and IG-88 instead of the Mandalorian and IG-11? Perhaps.
Rise of Skywalker special look at D23. We break down the new footage and discuss our new theories. Special appearance from the Feelings Lightsaber.
